Members of Faith Lutheran whipped up great food to serve during Winterset’s Lawn Chair Night summer concert series on a warm evening in June. Everything was home made and delicious. Many members brought cakes which helped draw hungry audience members. Proceeds from the sale benefit the church.
Bill Smith (left) spent long hours making barbeque pulled pork and potato salad from scratch. It was some of the most mouthwatering food you could sink your teeth into—just ask Wayne Martens!
The Winterset Community Band presents free concerts on Thursday evenings through July 19th in 2009. Concerts start at 7:15pm. Contact the Madison County Chamber of Commerce for more information.
